The Signal to Begin
My Thoughts:
My friend, at Christ's ascension to heaven, He received the glory that He had before He came the earth as a man. On earth He prayed "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." (John 17:5). His prayer was answered at Pentecost and as such His priestly ministry began within the hearts of His people.

The work in the holy place represented the growing of the church unto the time of 1844. Then His work changed from building the church to the preparing of people to give the last warning to the world. Those who had been laid to rest during this time, and unto the time of the close of probation, the life of the Son of God, represented in heaven by the blood of the Lamb, is applied to their lives, that they may be raised incorruptible when He comes in the clouds of glory.

Yet the greatest work that is to be accomplished in the most holy place is the work of transforming the life of those who will live in these last days. The Son of God is preparing a people that will vindicate the character of God just prior to His second coming. The work of Jesus within the heart temple is complete and now they allowed to be tried and tested before the whole universe. Satan, the accuser of our brethren has the opportunity to test them as Christ was tempted in the wilderness. These have been cleansed from all unrighteousness and through the indwelling of the Spirit of Christ within them, they will be victorious even as Christ was victorious.

My friend, the work the Christ is doing in the heavenly sanctuary above is only a representation of the work that He is doing within our hearts. May you surrender your life to this work that you may be counted worthy to vindicate the character of God in these last days.

Christ Before the Ancient of Days
My Thoughts:
My friend, the cleansing of the sanctuary in heaven is a representation of the cleansing of the body temple in the people of God in these last days. Those who have passed away prior to this time, are perfected by the application of the life of the Son of God upon their souls, that they may be raised incorruptible when Jesus comes in the clouds of glory. But those who are to remain until that time must have the righteousness of Christ manifested in their lives, that they may vindicate the character of God during the time that the seven last plagues are poured out upon the world.

These must have the pure and righteous character of Jesus, that through them the character of God may be vindicated. Thus the work of our High Priest must be accomplished in the 144,000, that the declaration may be made, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still." (Revelation 22:11).

The work of Jesus in heaven is only a representation of the work that He is accomplishing within the hearts of His people, that by the indwelling of the Son of God within them, they may be a perfect representation of God in these last days.

The Heavenly Things Purified

The Heavenly Things Purified
My Thoughts:
My friend, the cleansing in the heavenly sanctuary above is symbolic of the cleansing of the body temple within us. The blood in both the earthly and heavenly sanctuaries were symbolic of the life of Christ. In the earthly sanctuary the blood pointed to the true lamb of God that we to be sacrificed for us. In the heavenly sanctuary the blood is still symbolic but points to the imparting of the life of Christ to His people. The true imparting of life happens within our hearts.

The true mediation of Christ is within the soul temple. "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" (1 Corinthians 3:16). How is it that the work in the heavenly sanctuary cleanses us from all unrighteousness? The answer is that it does not; it only points to the true work of Christ within the heart. The imparting of His life within us.
