Health the Reward of Right Habits
My Thoughts:
My friend, the principals of health are given to us that we may be free from sickness and disease, that we may bring honor and glory to God. The body is the temple of God and as such we are to do all that is within our power to keep it in a condition of health, for by doing this we honor God.

Our health has a direct effect upon the mind and as such the soul. Eating and drinking have a direct affect upon our thoughts and actions. Actions repeated form habits, and habits form character. Thus what we eat and drink has an affect upon who we are. If Christ is living within we will be temperate in all things.

If this is not your experience today, then look unto Jesus; surrender your appetite to Him and He will give you the victory just as surely as He gained the victory in the desert.

Many Christians today have stopped believing in miracles. They believe that God does not work in this way in our time. Prayer is like a raffle with no real expectation that God will answer. This sermon shows clearly that the only reason for the lack of God's intervention today, is a lack of faith.

God's Dwelling Place

God's Dwelling Place
My Thoughts:
My friend, how is it that God dwells within us? By His Son. Jesus said "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." (John 14:10). The Spirit of God lives within the Son because He is the Son of God. As we take the spirit of our parents, so too has the Son taken the Spirit of the Father.

Yet the Adventist church today does not teach that Jesus is literally the Son of God, rather it teaches that the father son relationship is only a metaphor and is not literally true. The church holds this position to support their belief in the trinity, for the trinity teaches that the Father and the Son are both co-equal and co-eternal. For this to be true, the Son cannot be a true son like as we are, for to be a literal son one must have a beginning. Yet the testimony of the Father is "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17).

So then is God a liar? The biblical record says "God is not a man, that he should lie;" (Numbers 23:19). It also says "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." (1 John 2:22, 23).

John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." In order for us to receive that life we must receive the Son of God, for the apostle John says "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life." (1 John 5:11, 12).

My friend, the life of the Father is in the Son. "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;" (John 5:26). If you hold that God is a trinity then you do not receive the life of God in the Son, for the trinity teaches that the Son has life unto himself which is in direct opposition to the testimony of Jesus. To receive God the Son of the trinity is to receive the spirit of antichrist.

May you turn from the false god of the trinity unto the One true God through His Son Jesus Christ today.

Fulness of Joy

Fullness of Joy
My Thoughts:
My friend, Jesus desires for us to have joy in this life. He said in John 10:10 "... I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Our joy comes from the indwelling of Jesus with in our hearts. As we lay hold of this by faith, our lives will be filled with the joy of communion with Him.

God said to Moses "And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them." (Exodus 25:8). God wanted to dwell with His people. Then at the time of Christ, God sent His Son that He may dwell among His people. Now in Christ He seeks a even closer relationship with us. Through Christ, God dwells within us. This is the joy that we have such a close relationship with God through the indwelling of Jesus within our hearts.
