The Criers of Peace

The Criers of Peace
My Thoughts:
My friend, the remnant church today has become the crier of peace and safety. No longer does it proclaim that the second coming of Christ is immanent but only near. Leaders are teaching that His coming may not even be in our lifetime, thus fulfilling the Scriptures.

How has this change come about within the leadership of the church? It came because of their close association with the churches of the world. One of the clearest evidences that the second coming of Jesus is just before us is the change that has happened within the remnant church. The church which was once the pure Church of Philadelphia, has become the corrupt Church of Laodicea. It is in this condition because it has forsaken Christ, and as such is "... wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:" (Revelation 3:17).

How is it that the church is in this terrible condition? By the churches adoption of the doctrine of the trinity, and as such has forsaken the righteousness of Christ. Of this Jesus says "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see." (Revelation 3:18).

My friend, the last events of earths history are happening right before our very eyes. The liberties that we have enjoyed have already been taken away. The control that is being exercised upon the world is in response to the threat of a virus, but soon it will turn upon those who worship the Creator of heaven and earth.

Once the true three angels message, which is the everlasting gospel, goes to the world, the criers of peace and safety will persecute those who proclaim that the second coming of Jesus is even at the doors.

May you recognize the times that we are living in and prepare your heart to meet Jesus today.

The First Angels Message

The Three Angels Message is the last message of hope to be given to the world. It is a message that is to prepare the world for the second coming of Jesus. When the message was given at the time of the Advent movement, many were stirred and convicted, but today it seems to have lost its power. In this message we look at reason why it has lost its power to stir the hearts of the people. This is part 1 of a three part series looking at the true three angels message. This message was presented at the Advent Bible Fellowship on Guam, June 29, 2019.

As It Was in Noah's Day

As It Was in Noah's Day
My Thoughts:
My friend, the wickedness of the world that brought upon the flood is the same as it is today. While we do not know the exact time of Christ's second coming, the events that have been given to us tell that His coming is near, even at the doors.

Just before Jesus comes again there will be a time of trouble that will separate the righteous from the wicked. Today there are many professed followers of Christ that have an outward show of righteousness but in reality they have not surrendered their hearts to Jesus. These have deceived themselves into thinking that they are Christ's when they are not.

The crisis that is to come upon the world will test the faith of all and it will be seen if the righteousness of Christ lives within them. This test will bring the soul face to face with their true selves and will reveal their true natures, for it is in a crisis that character is revealed.

Our preparation must be in our daily surrender to the will of God, searching the Scriptures that God may reveal to us the plague spots of our characters. "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." (Psalms 139:23, 24).

In these last days we must have a living connection to God through His only begotten Son. We must have the righteousness of Jesus living in our hearts. "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." (1 John 5:11).

My friend, Jesus is pleading with His people saying "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20). Won't you open the doors of your heart to Him today?

Seven Last Plagues

Today's Devotion

Seven Last Plagues
My Thoughts:
My friend, the time of the seven last plagues is after the close of probation for the world. When the last message of hope has been brought home to the hearts and minds of the people, and each has had sufficient light and understanding as to who God is, that they may decide for themselves which side of the conflict they are to stand. Only then will the final probation of the earth close and the seven last plagues be poured out upon the earth.

All those who have accepted the message and have placed their trust in the Creator of heaven and earth will have come out of Babylon and received the seal of God. A great many that have come out will lay their lives down as a witness for others to follow. When the full extent of the third angels message has been accomplished only a small group of the remnant people will remain. These are the 144,000 that have been purified and made white through the persecution of God's people. "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." (Revelation 14:12).

When the seven last plagues are falling upon the earth, these faithful ones will be protected from the falling plagues. The promise to them is "A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked." (Psalm 91:7, 8).

The purpose of God in preserving a people through the last plagues is to prove His people. Long has Satan accused God before the heavenly hosts as being unjust in saving humanity. Now God presents before the universe, a perfect people that have been fully transformed into the image of God. In them dwells the righteousness of God in Christ.

Satan looks upon the 144,000 and he recognizes those to whom he has led into sin in the past. He refutes God's claim that they are righteous and demands that he has the opportunity to test them. God allows them to be tried to the uttermost and Satan and his host do all that they can to discourage and to led them into despair. But these have receive the final outpouring of the Spirit of God and they will not be moved. Like Job in times past, though they are afflicted and persecution to the point of death, they will not yield their faith in God. These demonstrate that they have the faith of Jesus.

My friend, we are living in the time just before the outpouring of the Spirit of God upon the world. The last message of hope is about to go to the world and God is looking for a people that will return to Him that He may fill them with His Spirit. To us Jesus is saying "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20). Won't you open the doors of your heart to Jesus, the only begotten Son of God today?

"A Time of Trouble"

Today's Devotion
Wednesday, April 8, 2020
"A Time of Trouble"
My Thoughts:
My friend, there is a time of trouble coming that will reveal the true characters of the professed followers of Christ. The crisis that is to be brought upon the world will show if the Spirit of Christ is truly living within the hearts of His professed people.

The seal of God is the true sabbath of the Lord, and because of this the majority of the remnant church are preparing to receive this special seal by striving to keep the sabbath day holy. Yet while the keeping of the true sabbath of the Lord will seal His people, the sabbath cannot sanctify His people. God, speaking through the prophet Ezekiel, said "Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them." (Ezekiel 20:12).

The sabbath is only a sign of the sanctification that the people must have already received from the LORD. In order for us to keep the sabbath holy we must ourselves be holy, and we can only be holy as Jesus is living within our hearts. Unless we have received the righteousness of God given to us through His Son, we will not be sealed in the time of trouble just before us.

If we are worshiping the false god of the trinity we cannot receive the righteousness of God, for the trinity offers to the people a false righteousness by faith, that is not the righteousness of God. As such the people look to the law to supply their lack of holiness. They look to their keeping of the law in place of the true righteousness that comes from the indwelling of the Son of God within their hearts. Though the law of God is holy, and righteous, and good, it has no power to transform the heart.

A seal only preserves that which is already there. If the heart is not purified and made white prior to the sealing, then all the seal will do is make permanent the decision that has already been made. Thus when the testing time comes all those who have not been first sanctified by the LORD, will not receive the seal of God, but will receive the mark of the beast.

My friend, there is no time to loose, the work of God is moving forward and He is working to prepare His people for the sealing time just ahead. If you are looking to your sabbath keeping to prepare you for the great time of trouble; when that time comes you will be weighted in the balances and found wanting.

Only those who have receive the righteousness of God through His only begotten Son, will be ready to receive the seal of God. Won't you turn from the false god of the trinity unto the One true God through His Son Jesus Christ today.
