My friend, as we worship the Lord today we must worship Him with a heart that is sanctified by Him, for no amount of Sabbath keeping will save us. To keep the Sabbath day holy we must ourselves be holy, and holiness does not come from any action that we perform. Holiness comes from the indwelling of Jesus within the heart.
The reason why we struggle with keeping the Sabbath day holy is because we are striving to keep it holy while we ourselves are not holy. We struggle because our hearts are not truly surrendered to God. "Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them." (Ezekiel 20:12).
The great deception of Satan in these last days is not some trick to get us to worship him on Sunday, but to deceive us into thinking that they are saved when they are truly lost. Such is the condition of the Seventh-day Adventist church today. By separating them from the One true God, the church has been led into legalism thinking that the act of keeping the Sabbath sanctifies them.
How has the church been separated from God you may ask? By leading the church to accept the trinity in place of the One true God. In doing this Satan has led the church to worship a false god, thus separating them from the righteousness of Christ. Today the church freely admits that it is in the Laodicean condition, but it does not truly understand what this condition is. They think that it is just worldliness but in reality it is much more.
Jesus declares their condition saying "Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:" (Revelation 3:17), and the remedy for their condition identifies the source of their condition. "I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." (Revelation 3:18).
They need gold tried in the fire, white raiment, and eyesalve. Eyesalve that they may discern their true condition, while white raiment is the righteousness of Christ, and gold represents faith. The problem with the church today is that they have a false experience of righteousness by faith. By the accepting of the trinity as God, they no longer have the righteousness of Christ. They are blind to their condition because the trinity has the form of God, but in reality is not. The Faithful and True Witness of God confirms this by saying "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." (Revelation 3:20).
Why is Jesus on the outside of the hearts of His people? Because they have forsaken Him for the false god of the trinity. He exhorts His people to open the doors of their hearts that He may come in and sanctify them.
When the final test comes to the church, those who cling to the worship of God as a trinity will as readily receive the mark of the beast as those who worship on Sunday, for the trinity is the god of Babylon.
My friend, I know that this message is not easy to accept, but it is given in love. Jesus says "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent." (Revelation 3:19). If we are to stand firm for God in these last days, we must first be sanctified by Him. Then when the Sunday laws come, the Sabbath will become a seal that will keep us holy because the LORD has made us holy.
May you be sanctified by the One true God through His Son Jesus Christ living within your heart today.
God bless,
