My friend, the only being in the whole universe that could atone for our sins and reconnect us with heaven is the only begotten Son of God. He is our Mediator, our Advocate, and our Comforter. Many today by their belief in the trinity see Jesus as their Advocate but not their Comforter. They look to the Comforter as the Holy Spirit, a separate being from the Father and the Son, who is also our Mediator.
This view of God is not supported by the Scriptures, for Jesus is both our Comforter and our Mediator. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1 Timothy 2:5). The Holy Spirit is not a separate being as the church teaches, but is simply the Spirit of God that lives within the Son. "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." (John 14:10). If the Holy Spirit is not the Father, and is not the Son, but a third being, then he would be another mediator between God and man, putting the Scriptures at naught.
While our High Priest is performing the work of atonement in the heavenly sanctuary above, He is also, by His Spirit, performing that same work of atonement within the sanctuary of our hearts. Jesus said unto His disciples "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." (John 14:16-18).
In the passage above, Jesus was not saying that He would send them another being to be their comforter, but that He would come to them in a different form, by His Spirit. Cumbered with humanity Christ could not be in every place personally, but by His Spirit, He could be with every believer, comforting, guiding, and sustaining. That is why He said "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." (John 14:18). He would not send another, but He would personally be with them by His Spirit.
My friend, Jesus is the only being that could bridge heaven and earth: the only one who could be our sacrifice and our life. The trinity teaches something that is altogether different from the Bible: it teaches another way of salvation.
If your experience of righteousness by faith leaves you unsatisfied, it is because you are not truly connected with the One who is the true Mediator between God and man, Jesus Christ the righteous who is the way, the truth, and the life.
Today, He is offering you to drink from the true fountain of living water that you may be filled. Won't you look away from the false god of the trinity unto the One true God through His Son Jesus Christ today?
God bless,
