My friend, our righteousness is as filthy rags; it is so because we have a sinful nature. All the works that we do are tainted with sin and as such is out of harmony with the character of God. What we need is a righteousness that is from above; what we need is the righteousness of Christ.
So many in the church today have become like the Pharisees of old. They claim to be saved by grace while they present their good works as an evidence of their salvation. This is the terrible condition of the Laodicean church. They think that they are rich and increased with goods while their true condition is "wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked." (Revelation 3:17). They are in this condition because they have lost sight of Jesus as the only begotten Son of God. As such they do not have His righteousness, but the self-righteousness that comes from the law.
The church has been blinded by the trinity, which looks like God, but in realty is not. It has given them a form of godliness but it lacks the power to free them from sin. Thus they look to the law for righteousness and are satisfied with a mere profession of righteousness while their hearts remain sinful. Unless these see their true condition before God, they will remain in this most terrible deceived condition.
It is not easy to accept that what we have been taught our whole lives is a lie, but unless the light of truth shines upon our hearts, we will be spewed out of the mouth of Jesus in the time of the judgment. If we reject the light of truth given to us by the Faithful and True Witness of God, we will be left in darkness.
Jesus said "... If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!" (Matthew 6:23). Friend, it is time to examine your heart to see if what you have accepted as light is in fact light, least you find out too late that you have embraced darkness rather than light. "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15).
My friend, Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6), yet the church teaches that we are connected to God through the Holy Spirit, which it claims is neither the Father nor the Son. How is it that we have been led to believe this? It is time to look away from the false god of the trinity unto the One true God through His Son Jesus Christ today, that we may receive the righteousness of Christ through the indwelling of His Spirit within us.
God bless,
