My friend, the creation of all things begins with God. The atheist believes that all things came into existence by chance; while the Christian believes in an all powerful, all knowing God that created all things by His word. Each requires a measure of faith and neither can conclusively prove it one way or another. We either believe that all things came about through eons of time and natural selection by chance, or we believe that there is a Creator. In one there is no purpose to life, while in the other there is purpose and reason.
For the believers in a Creator there is hope and purpose, while for the atheist nothing really matters since all came about by chance. The believers in evolution believe that we are getting better, while the Christian sees that we are fallen from that which our Creator had created. The world is waxing old like a garment and is in need of restoration. We see that God loves His creation; so much so that He sent His only begotten Son to save us, for we were created in the image of our Creator.
This beautiful picture of a loving and compassionate God stooping down to save His Creation, is not found in any other religion. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). For those who believe in the trinity, they do not truly understand what they believe. They believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but most don't realize that what they believe actually denies that the Son of God is truly the Son of God.
What the trinity teaches is that God is made up of three individual divine beings that are all God unto themselves and are also collectively God. It teaches that they are all co-equal and co-eternal, meaning that they have always existed. For this to be true, then the Son of God cannot truly be a son, for to be a son one must be born, and to be born means a beginning. If the Son of God had a beginning, then He cannot be co-eternal and as such is not God as the trinity teaches.
While this may seem to be a contradiction to a believer in the trinity, it is explained away by saying that God is a mystery and that He represents Himself to us in a way that we may understand. God is infinite and His ways are higher than our ways, and our finite minds cannot fully understand an infinite God. However to believe this is to believe that an all knowing and all powerful God who is infinite in knowledge and wisdom cannot explain who He is to His creation, but has to shroud who He is in mystery.
To believe in the trinity is to believe that God is a liar, for He said "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased." (Matthew 3:17). If Jesus was not truly His Son, then His testimony is false and God is a liar. But this is not so for the Scriptures declare "God is not a man, that he should lie;" (Numbers 23:19). So if God does not lie, then the Son of God is truly the Son of God.
Then why is it that the trinity teaches that the Son of God is not truly a son? The answer is found in 1 John 2:22 saying "Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." The spirit of antichrist is the spirit of Satan, and as such the trinity, which denies the Father and the Son, is a deception of Satan.
The Son of God is a true son because He came forth from the Father, the one true God, and as such is divine and has the same nature as the Father. If you believe in the trinity then you have been deceived by the arch-deceiver. Satan hates the Son of God because He is what he cannot be. The divine Son of God.
My friend it is time to turn away from this great deception and turn unto the One true God through His Son Jesus Christ today. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" (1 Timothy 2:5). "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3).
God bless,
